Angela Lightfoot, M.Edu

Angela Lightfoot is a Spiritual and Mental Health Wellness Coach, speaker, and leadership facilitator who helps people reclaim alignment, emotional clarity, and purpose in both life and work. Her energy is soft but powerful, and her presence—grounded, thoughtful, and spirit-led—has a way of making people feel immediately at ease. Whether she’s guiding a young woman to rediscover her worth, helping a corporate team navigate burnout, or facilitating a soul-filled retreat, Angela brings both heart, empathy and strategy to every space she enters.

For over 15 years, Angela has worked at the intersection of education, wellness, and leadership—serving as a mental health counselor, higher education professional, adult educator, and integrative life coach. Her work spans community colleges, nonprofit organizations, corporate teams, churches, and women’s groups. She’s passionate about helping others “Dream in the Present”—a phrase she coined to describe the practice of healing from the past, staying grounded in today, and still reaching boldly for tomorrow.

Angela’s expertise lies in emotional wellness, cultural fluency, leadership development, and intergenerational coaching. She has a unique ability to connect with people from all backgrounds, life stages, and belief systems. Her cultural sensitivity and lived experience allow her to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment. With a coaching style that’s both intuitive and practical, she helps individuals unpack what’s heavy, find their “why,” and move forward with intention.

Angela holds a strong foundation in psychology, education, and life coaching, with certifications in Work-Life Balance, Confidence Building, Life Purpose, Relationship Coaching, and Spiritual Coaching. She currently collaborates with Rita Ricks LLC, co-leading retreats, wellness initiatives, and training experiences that help organizations center mental well-being, clarity, and purpose.

Angela also leads two social coaching groups: The Clique (ages 16–19) and The Vault (ages 21–36), both dedicated to helping young women navigate adulthood, identity, relationships, and personal development with support and sisterhood. These spaces, along with her coaching practice, reflect her deep belief in the power of community and healing in safe, sacred environments.

Her programs, whether one-on-one or group-based, are rooted in faith, practical tools, and deep listening. From workforce development and staff retreats to keynote speaking and leadership training, Angela invites others into a new way of living and leading—one grounded in truth, joy, and alignment.

At her core, Angela believes that everyone deserves a life that feels whole. A life where peace is not a luxury, but a right. A life where you’re not constantly pouring from an empty cup, but filling from a source that never runs dry. Through intentional reflection, emotional wellness, spiritual grounding, and clear goals, Angela helps others see that balance isn’t just possible—it’s necessary. Because when you’re in alignment, you don’t just survive. You thrive
