Meet Rita Ricks, Spiritual Transformation Expert

“The Solution is in the Silence”

Rita Caldwell Ricks is a powerhouse of insight, inspiration, and spiritual clarity. A Spiritual Transformation Expert, Business Coach, and Award-Winning Entrepreneur, Rita is known for helping high-achieving leaders shift from stress to invulnerable peace by Living From The Inside Out through the Practice of Silence

In practicing silence, you learn to trust yourself at a higher level. You stop chasing and start attracting. Ultimately, silence reconnects you to purpose. It is not passive. It is deeply active, transforming how you lead, how you serve, and how you live. This is the next level of leadership…not louder, not faster, but wiser, more intentional, and profoundly impactful by Doing less and Being More. Silence is not a pause…it’s your most powerful move.

With wisdom rooted in lived experience and spiritual depth, Rita connects soul to soul. Her electrifying presence, signature wit, and grounded guidance spark transformation from the inside out. She doesn’t just coach, she LISTENS and helps break down the barriers that no longer serve you.

A certified Spiritual Director trained in deep listening through silence, each chapter brought her closer to her purpose. It was through stillness, in the silence, that she discovered her true calling: helping others lead with intention, authenticity, and spiritual alignment.

As founder of Rita Ricks LLC, she’s coached executives, entrepreneurs, and teams across industries. For eight years, she led The New Virginia: Scaling4Growth, a statewide initiative teaching small business owners how to scale and thrive. Her impact earned her the Leadership in Facilitation and Training Award. She’s the author of two transformational books—PERMISSION GRANTED! At 76+, Rita is fiercely disrupting the outdated myths around aging. Through her dynamic keynotes, one-on-one coaching, masterclasses, and international retreats, she champions women and leaders to crush fear, silence doubt, and own the life they were born to live.

Rita holds a B.S. in Sociology from Virginia State University, an M.Ed. in Adult Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and executive certificates from UVA’s Darden School of Business and Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School. She studied at the RUAH School of Spiritual Direction, Richmond Hill, in Richmond, VA. From that two-year program, she learned the art of Spiritual Guidance, which is an ancient ministry of Listening to others.

She lives in Richmond, VA, where she enjoys Uncle Nearest whiskey, smooth jazz, and mentoring her two granddaughters. A proud breast cancer survivor and longtime member of Saint Paul’s Baptist Church, Rita continues to walk in grace, power, and purpose.
